If you're new to YowTRIP, we would like to welcome you to our free social platform of world travelers. We send out a newsletter at the beginning of every month to keep our members informed about what's going on here at YowTRIP.

It's July and we have a new site!

Hopefully most of you have already seen our new home page that was launched a couple of weeks ago. Its major new feature is a huge Google world map that offers photos and information summaries of different world cities, with links to more information about those cities throughout our site. As with all of YowTRIP's services and features, we will continue to improve the map and add new functionalities.

There will be major changes and enhancements to YowTRIP in the next six months, and we would like you to be a part of them! So, we are asking a favor: in order to prioritize our efforts and understand more about your needs, we have drafted a quick survey. This is really important to us and to the future of YowTRIP, and it shouldn't take you more than three minutes! So please access our survey at www.yowtrip.com/survey

We have also created an even simpler and smaller widget for your blog/website. It's a great way to tell your website's visitors where you're going next or where you are at the moment. If you don't have any upcoming trips planned, we won't display anything. It just doesn't get any simpler than that!

In the news

YowTRIP continues to be mentioned in the news around the world. This month, YowTRIP was featured in a Russian magazine, as well as in the UK-based newspaper, The Guardian, whose weekly column features journalist Vicky Baker as she travels through Central and South America guided by people she meets on social networks. Recently, she stayed in my hometown of Salvador, Brazil.
