If you're new to YowTRIP, we would like to welcome you to our free social platform of world travelers. We send out a newsletter at the beginning of every month to keep our members informed about what's going on here at YowTRIP.

New Home, YowEXPERTS and YowADVENTURES!

Long time, no see! Our last newsletter was in February, so we have a lot to go over. However, I'll be as brief as possible since some people's attention span is very short ;) (mine included).

YowTRIP has a new home: Boulder, Colo.

Yes, we've moved (which is partly why we haven't produced a newsletter in two months). We're now headquartered in the beautiful city of Boulder.

There is a lot going on here, a lot of startups and some key partnership opportunities for YowTRIP.

Colorado has always been one of my favorite states in the U.S. and now I can call it home!

 

 

Think you know a place better than anybody else?
Become a YowEXPERT!

YowTRIP has launched a new service: YowEXPERTS. If you think you know a place well and have some meaningful tips for travelers going there, you can become a YowEXPERT and share:

• Your reasons why someone should visit this place
• The must-see and must-do places, events, eateries, bars, etc.
• Some things they should be aware of before going there

You can also ask specific questions of all of the YowEXPERTS of your next destination.

By providing this new service, YowTRIP hopes to help travelers find better and more meaningful information about their next vacation spot, while meeting interesting people along the way!

Oh, we also have some cool YowTRIP t-shirts left, so if you do consider yourself a YowEXPERT and have signed on as such, we want to thank you with your very own YowTRIP shirt! Just send us an e-mail at info@yowtrip.com with your address, color (navy blue, forest green, yellow, white) and size (S, M, L, XL) and we'll mail you one (worldwide)!

We welcome feedback,
and now you have an even better way to express yourself!

YowTRIP is always listening to its members for suggestions and ideas on how to improve and enhance our services. You may have noticed the green "feedback" button on the left side of our homepage. This is the shortcut to our feedback page (viewable after you log in). Click here to leave your feedback!

You can vote on ideas you think are good, add your own ideas, report bugs, and let us know what you like/dislike. We'll work on issues/suggestions in the order that you decide is important! (Please keep in mind we have our own to-do list to implement, as well).

This feedback service is provided by a San Francisco-based startup, UserVoice.

Are you the adventurous type?
Well, now we have even more of what you need!

YowTRIP has partnered with AdventureCentral, a Denver-based adventure travel specialist company, to provide a huge list of adventure packages from all over the world. Now your YowTRIP search for people with similar travel interests can result in a YowGROUP adventure to one of these amazing locations!

Instead of listing advertisements on our pages, we're actively seeking partnerships like this one that will bring added value to the services enjoyed by our members.

You will find AdventureCentral's contributions on the left side of our blog page. We think this company is a perfect fit for what we're working to accomplish with YowTRIP, and we hope you find this new and exciting partnership very valuable!
