If you're new to YowTRIP, we would like to welcome you to our free social network of world travelers. We send out a newsletter at the beginning of every month to keep our members informed about what's going on here at YowTRIP.

The YowTRIP team would like to wish you a happy and prosperous 2008 with lots of travels! As we start the year, YowTRIP has been working on a few new services to help you plan your next trip:
- If you like to travel solo and already have your travel plans, you can simply add a YowTRIP and let us match you with other travelers who are going to be in the same place during the same time.
- If you would rather form a group to go somewhere together, create a YowTRIP, invite your friends, and let other travelers join it.

YowTRIP demonstrations in San Francisco and the Silicon Valley
Last month, YowTRIP was invited to demo its services to technology enthusiasts, web 2.0 entrepreneurs, and investors at the SF Beta Holiday Bash in San Francisco, as well as at the monthly NewTech Meetup in Palo Alto. Both events were incredibly pleasing. We met a lot of people in the industry and got a lot of positive feedback from the community.
For 2008, we will continue to reach out to other technology events in the country to share our services. On February 7th, YowTRIP will be in Boulder, Colorado demoing its services to the Denver/Boulder web 2.0 community. So, if you're in the area, please stop by or meet me for a ski day in Vail!
Later this year, we also plan to demo YowTRIP to groups in Los Angeles, New York and Toronto. We'll keep you posted through our newsletters and blog, so you can come see us if you're in the area.
Next Contest!
In last month's newsletter, we predicted that we'd have more information about our next contest in this newsletter, but we are not quite ready. Please sit tight ... our next contest will be announced next month. :)
