Oswego, which is about 45 minutes northwest of Syracuse, is a small town on the shore of beautiful Lake Ontario, one of the five fingerlakes near the U.S./Canada border. A visitor to Oswego should walk along the riverfront and visit the old historic Fort Ontario. Spend some time on the lake shore skipping rocks. During the summer out on the lake there is a restaurant called Rudy's that has the best fish sandwiches ... mild, white, flaky Haddock golden fried and you have to put pickled relish on top. Then walk down the street to Bev's dairy twirl for a soft custard cone dipped in a chocolate shell. mmm!

Living in: Loveland, CO

When I moved here there were 15,000 people, now there are 60,000, so it is getting crowded by my standards. You have to drive right through Loveland to get to Estes Park which is the gateway to Rocky Mtn Nat'l Park. Trail Ridge is the highest continuous roadway in the US. It goes over the continental divide.
Loveland is between Fort Collins to the north (home of CSU) and Boulder to the south (home of CU). People are very health and fitness oriented here.

I live on a 540 ac private lake in the center of town. Summers are spend jet boating and jet skiing.
