| I have lived here all of my life - which is now 21 years! It is a pretty cool place to live, has everything that you could want. Newcastle itself is well known for it's nighlife and definately is one of the best around with a range of different bars and clubs. There is also a great shopping area and many restauraunts. There are many attractions to see, such as the baltic art gallery, the sage performance centre, the milenium bridge, the castle keep, etc! Newcastle has many neighbouring towns which are also cool and easy to reach by local metro. Durham is an old town which has cobbled streets and is very historic - definately sorth a visit. There is also the nearby south shields which has a beach, many parks and an amusement park. The cookson festival is held here in the summer which hosts many childs games, live concerts and comedy acts and parades! Sunderland is also easy to reach and pretty similar to Newcastle in the form of it's nightlife and dining out! Overall a great city and de |
